Change Management: A Proactive Approach to Change
Change in organizations today is more rapid, longer lasting and more complex. It is important to understand how to incorporate change management methodologies in initiatives at various levels in the organization. Statistics show that a vast majority of organizational change initiatives underperform, or even fail to produce their intended value, fail to line up with the intended scope, schedule or budget and leave the workforce feeling overused and underappreciated. This session will discuss the increasingly complex role of change in organizations and explore the role that change management can play in supporting organizational and project level changes in meeting or exceeding the projected ROI by ensuring employee engagement, open channels of communication and increased speed of adoption, proficiency and utilization. Finally, we want to share the change management journey in NYCT’s complex portfolio of Asset Management initiatives.
