Logistics plays an integral role in a company’s supply chain operations and its ability to compete on a global platform. While many organizations may rely extensively on transportation management technology to drive their logistics transformation initiatives, technology alone is not the silver bullet. Building a sustainable transformation often involves creating new organizational structures, addressing process deficiencies, and building relationships with key stakeholders and trading partners. From legacy based transactional models to advanced Transportation Management Systems (TMS), there is a need to find a balance between technology, collaboration, and process discipline. Leviton has remained successful by always looking to the future; innovations in transportation/logistics management are just one example of how Leviton has stayed ahead of its industry for over 107 years.

Attendees will learn:

  • Logistics Evaluation: Understanding your Current State
  • The Value of Informal Benchmarking
  • Why Change? Creating the Appetite
  • Balancing People, Process, and Technology
  • Lessons Learned: What Not To Do
  • What’s Next
