Holiday Message from ASCM NY-LI Forum
2023 has been a transition year as we welcomed a new board and offered a variety of in-person events on Trade Compliance, Supply Chain Technology and Nearshoring in both Long Island and NYC. It has also been a year of growth with 61 new members joining our organization so far this year. To conclude the year, we had a great holiday party at the Milleridge Inn.
In the Spring of 2024, (EVENTS LINK) we will continue our theme of the end-to-end supply chain and Women in Supply Chain with more events:
· January, 2024: Kaycee Ochonogor, Radienz Living, will speak on Sourcing Best Practices (in Long Island)
· February, 2024: Meghana Laddha, Diggs Pets, will discuss Supply Chain Leadership (in Long Island)
· March, 2024:
- Long Island: Alex Campo, WM Synergy Customer Success Operations Manager, speaks on Customer Service Success - Improving Customer Relationships using Technology
- NYC: Erica Bassuk, PVH, will focus on Supply Chain Planning (in NYC)
We also recommend that you check out our new career planning webinars under “ASCM NYC LI Presents” as well as Supply Chain Briefs, a top 20 supply chain podcast. You will find this content in the “Resources” section of our website.
There is still more to come as we are working on a set of educational initiatives and continue to expand our partnerships with local universities including Adelphi, Farmingdale State, St John’s, Hofstra and NYU.
